About the Raburn PTA

Mission & Purpose

Radburn PTA is organized for the purpose of supporting the education of children at Radburn Elementary School by promoting a team atmosphere among the school, parents, teachers, and school administrators.

What We Do

The Radburn PTA brings families, teachers, and staff together to create opportunities that enrich our children’s education and school experience. Each year, we fundraise and organize programs that support students directly, celebrate our community, and enhance Radburn Elementary in lasting ways.

Here’s where our efforts go:

Student Enrichment: Culture Day, heritage assemblies, author visits, and hands-on programs.
Classroom & Teacher Support: Field Day shirts, classroom supplies, teacher appreciation, and library resources.
4th Grade Committee: Yearbook, special events, and the legacy project.
Schoolwide Extras: The art show, scholarships, and community-building programs.
Playground & Facilities Enhancements: New gaga pits, funnel ball, beautification projects, and more.

FUNDRAISING AND SPENDING

PTA LASTING GIFTS

2025: The PTA commissioned Yellow Door Art Studio to beautify the front five poles and stairway at the school entrance.

2024: The Radburn PTA installed an accessible gaga pit with turf for safe and clean fun!

2024: Mrs. Galligan's gallery wall to display art on the 1st floor was funded by a PTA mini-grant.

2023: The Radburn PTA purchased and installed these stair riser vinyls

2023: The PTA commissioned Yellow Door Art Studio to beautify and brighten the teachers lounge.

2015-2017

After years of fundraising to raise over $50,000 the Radburn PTA played an instrumental role of getting our current playground installed.
